What freebies / bonuses can I get?

First 48 hours: Back within the first 48 hours and the Perfectly Normal Pigeon pin is included free with your pledge. Returning backers: If you backed PokéBites, you’ll also receive the Angel Mouse Charm free. Just pledge using the same BackerKit email (or message me and I’ll help match you)! Angels & Demons banner: If you back 3+ projects in the Angels & Demons group-collab, you may qualify for free holo stickers from each backed campaign.

How do the hanging charms work? Are they pins?

The hanging charms are enamel charms with lobster clasp hooks. They’re meant to hang from the halo on the Angel Opossum, Archangel Raccoon, and Purrincipality Cat (but can also hang from jewelry). They do not have pin posts, so they won’t pin onto fabric by themselves. Once unlocked, charms will be available as add-ons (and via the Cryptic Messages Pack tier).

Do you ship to the EU / UK / internationally?

EU/EEA shipping is currently paused for this campaign while I set up compliance for the EU’s updated product safety requirements. If the campaign funds, my plan is to complete compliance afterward and reopen EU/EEA availability via the pre-order shop, so follow the campaign for updates! I do ship internationally to many other countries, and backers are responsible for VAT/customs/import fees where applicable. (UK is also excluded for this campaign.)

Can I change my pin/charm/sticker choices later?

Yes, nothing is final until surveys are locked! You can change your selections while surveys are open. If you need help, message me and I’ll make sure you’re covered.

I pledged Pay Over Time. When do I get my survey?

Pay Over Time backers will receive their surveys after their final payment clears! If I need early selection info for production planning, I’ll post an update with a separate form (only if necessary).

When will I be charged (pledge vs. add-ons vs. shipping)?

If you pledged to the campaign, you likely saw your charge shortly after the campaign ended (with retries for any failed cards).

You’ll see an Add-on charge if you add extras during the survey phase (I’ll post an Update when surveys will close and when to expect the charge).

Shipping will come later, closer to fulfillment, once I have accurate package weights (again, you can expect to see an Update about this).

Not everyone will have all three! Only people adding extras and/or receiving physical goods will.

When will I pay for shipping?

Shipping will be collected later, closer to fulfillment, once I have final package weights and can charge the correct amount. I’ll post an update before any shipping charges run, so nobody is surprised!

Estimated Shipping (rough guide): (US) 1–4 pins: $5–$7 • 5–8+ pins: $8–$12 (Canada) 1–4 pins: $13–$15 • 5–8+ pins: $19–$23 (Mexico/Australia/Most countries) 1–4 pins: $15–$19 • 5–8+ pins: $23–$30

(International backers are responsible for any VAT/customs/import fees charged by their country.)

Do I automatically get the freebies I qualified for?

Yes! Freebies you qualify for are added automatically.

$150+ Free Omen Charm: If you qualified before surveys went out, it should be visible already. If you reach $150+ later during surveys, I’ll add the free charm in batches (so it may appear closer to when I lock surveys). If it still seems to be missing, message me!

Free Sticker for Physical Tier Backers + Pre-Order Shop Purchases of $18+: the design will be decided by vote! It will be from one of the unlocked designs, and will have a special effect (like glitter or holographic). The sticker will be automatically added to applicable orders.

Can I combine my Choir Critters shipment with my qesque.com online shop order?

Likely, yes! You’ll see a survey question asking if you want to combine shipments. If you’d like to, you’ll provide your shop order number (ex: #12345) or checkout email. Combining will mean your shop order ships on the Choir Critters timeline (so only do this if you don’t mind waiting)!

If possible, please use the same shipping name/address on your shop order to make combining shipments easier.

What happens if my package is returned or my address is wrong?

If your package is returned due to an insufficient address or being unclaimed/refused, I can re-ship it once you provide an updated address. You will be responsible for the re-shipping costs. I can’t hold orders indefinitely, so please respond within a reasonable timeframe if I reach out! Otherwise, you risk forfeiting your items.

Will everything unlocked still be available after the campaign?

Yes! Everything unlocked will remain available through the post-campaign flow (Surveys/Add-ons and the Pre-order shop window), though campaign-only perks may not apply to Pre-order purchases unless stated otherwise.

All unlocked items will likely remain available even after the post-campaign flow, and I’ll work to add them to my online shop and convention stock. Available grades (A-Grade Standard pins, B-Grade Seconds pins, etc.), restock timeframes, and prices for items will fluctuate.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
